Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with elementary and school-age children in a safe, structured, and fun environment

• Assist students with homework, reading, and age-appropriate enrichment activities

• Lead and support students during snack time, group games, crafts, and outdoor play

• Drive center van to pick up children from local schools (must have clean driving record and valid license)

• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom space

• Relieve other staff for lunch and planning breaks

• Maintain positive and professional communication with families and coworkers

• Follow all licensing and center policies and procedures

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare setting or after-school program

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Comfortable working with children from ages 4–12

• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely drive a center van

• Able to pass background check and fingerprinting

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)

• High school diploma or GED required
